AUDITION IN "LA BANDA"
At the audition, Joel sang the song "Cien ovejas" that his grandfather taught him and it was not pleasing to the judges, who asked him to sing another song and sing "I see fire" by Ed Sheeran. In the end, Ricky Martin said "No" but Laura Pausini and Alejandro Sanz said "Yes".
Joel Pimentel De León, was born in California on February 28, 1999. His parents are of Mexican origin, he has 3 brothers.
The greatest inspiration of this boy of 17 has always been his recently deceased grandfather, who always gave him the strength to continue singing and studying theater. He participated in the reallity "La Banda" and although at a point in the competition he thought he would be eliminated, his tenacity, hard work and talent, made him one of the winners and nowadays members of the new band CNCO.
